I’m drawn to psychology because I believe there is so much to be gained by developing a deeper understanding of ourselves. My aims as a therapist are to provide a safe, warm, nurturing environment in which I honor your vulnerability and help you to navigate past life experiences and move forward with relief. I seek to bring my clients towards full acceptance of their selves as they are, so they feel empowered to navigate life’s challenges with confidence.

Before coming to Chicago, I lived in New York and Baltimore, working in the non-profit space with all age ranges of youth. From that work, I brought with me an understanding of community- and family-level care, which I integrate into my work today. It’s important to me to acknowledge and account for the way people operate within their systems.

I earned my Master’s in Clinical Psychology at Adler University and am currently in my fourth year of completing my doctorate degree in the same program. I have experience working in community mental health care, an inpatient psychiatric hospital and a medical hospital in Chicago. I have a wealth of experience working with clients on interpersonal relationships, life transitions, chronic pain, grief, and trauma. I also have experience working with clients from a variety of cultural backgrounds, including BIPOC and LGBTQ+-identifying clientele.

My practice is grounded in an approach called Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which involves developing mindfulness and exploring the way our actions relate to our personal values. I integrate my ACT practice with holistic, trauma-informed, client-centered care. Ultimately, I aim to sit and be present with each of my clients as we work together as a team to find a course of treatment best suited to empower acceptance, change and growth.

It is an honor to go on this journey alongside you, so together we may uncover how to boldly live as our most healed and authentic self.
