I offer individual therapy from my office in Chicago. I treat adults dealing with:

  • Anxiety and Panic 

  • Perfectionism

  • Outpatient-level Eating Disorders (including Orthorexia, or the obsession with "clean eating")

  • Disordered eating, chronic dieting, and over-exercising

    • Intuitive Eating (an evidence-based approach for those wanting to develop a more peaceful relationship with body, food and movement)

  • Addictive and compulsive behaviors 

  • Drug and Alcohol addiction

  • Trauma and post-traumatic stress

  • Relationship struggles

Clinical Approach

I do not believe in taking a cookie-cutter approach to treatment.  I weave various psychological theories into my work and tailor therapy to your individual needs and presenting concerns. I believe that human beings are holistic and our mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual functioning are richly interconnected.


I bring my personality into the room with me. It's very important to me to build a trusting, collaborative relationship with you. Therapy can be hard work and isn't always fun, but together we can navigate it in a meaningful way if we have mutual respect for one another and trust in the process.


If I ever miss the mark or say or do something that doesn't land well with you (which is likely, since I'm just a human being), I want to know so that we can address it. A positive relationship between client and therapist can be healing in and of itself!


I use many theories to guide my work, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Adlerian Psychology, Feminist Theory, Existential Psychology, and Family Systems theory.


I regularly consult the research to ensure that I am providing care from the most up-to-date and well-informed perspective. I'm committed to lifelong learning, and know that I will always have more growing to do, both as a clinician and a person!


I am a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor and an approved facilitator for Beauty Redefined's Body Image resilience Program. I am also trained and certified in the Chronic Pain Self-Management Program (CDSMP), Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT),  and Mindfulness Meditation.  


I'm a member of several professional organizations that allow me educational and consultation opportunities to continue learning and growing in my practice, including the American Psychological Association (APA), the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science (ACBS), and the Association for Size Diversity and Health (ASDAH).

Insurance & Fees

I am paneled as an in-network provider for the following insurance plans:

If I am not in-network with your insurance plan, you may see me as an out-of-network provider and submit a bill to your insurance company. They may reimburse you. 


My out-of-pocket fees are as follows: 

Initial Intake Session (60+ minutes) - $250

Therapy Session (50 minutes) - $175
