Dr. Hannah Pavett, Psy.D. (she/her) ~ Post-Doctoral Clinician

As post-doctoral fellow at HumanKind Psych, I specialize in therapy and psychological testing, and also serve as the practice intake coordinator. In therapy, my focus is on helping individuals break free from patterns of constant striving, avoidance, anxiety, and perfectionism. In our sessions, you can expect a warm, genuine, and nonjudgmental space where I gently challenge you to confront and understand what’s holding you back. My goal is to empower you to move towards your personal goals with greater self-compassion and resilience.

I utilize an integrative therapeutic approach, combining Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), relational therapy, and psychodynamic perspectives to tailor my practice to your needs. Together, we’ll explore how past experiences and relationships shape your current challenges and perspectives, working towards meaningful, values-driven change.

With experience across diverse clinical settings—including hospital environments, private practices, and an APA-accredited doctoral internship—I bring a comprehensive perspective to my work. I am particularly passionate about supporting young adults as they navigate anxiety, perfectionism, depression, relational issues, life transitions, eating disorders, and body image concerns. I am committed to helping you tackle these challenges and support your journey toward personal growth and healing.

In my own life, I’m happiest when spending time with friends and family. I also love live music, yoga, being in nature, and playing with my dog, Meadow.
