Dr. Hannah Pavett, Psy.D. (she/her) ~ Post-Doctoral Clinician

I am here to support you through the process of better understanding yourself and creating a life filled with meaning and purpose. I approach therapy with empathy, warmth, and genuineness while working to maintain a balance between being supportive and gently challenging.

I aim to provide a safe, empowering, and nonjudgmental space where you can find the courage to be your authentic self while promoting growth and resilience. I integrate various treatment modalities to best match your individual needs with an emphasis on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), along with relational, humanistic/person-centered, and psychodynamic approaches. I also strive to provide care that is honoring and inclusive of diverse backgrounds and experiences.

I am passionate about working with adults and emerging adults experiencing anxiety, depression, identity/self-esteem concerns, relational issues, and life transitions. I have experience working with people across the lifespan in a variety of clinical settings, and I completed my doctoral internship at an APA-accredited practice where I gained valuable experience providing therapy and psychological assessment services to children and adolescents. Prior to this, I also gained experience in hospital settings and private practices.

Moving through challenging experiences and emotions can feel confusing and isolating. I believe in your ability to overcome challenges, and I want to support you through this process. Taking the step to receive support is an important act of self-compassion, and I would be honored to be a part of your journey to healing.

In my own life, I'm happiest when spending time with my friends and family. I also love live music, yoga, exploring Chicago, being outside in nature, and playing with my rescue dog Meadow (named after Meadow Soprano).
